Up Energy have undertaken hundreds of EPC assessments across Plymouth and the surrounding areas with commercial EPCs from Plymstock to Plympton, the city centre and the industrial areas. We work with a wide range of businesses and property professionals within the city, and have assessed all sorts of buildings, from small cafes and shops to historic buildings in the Barbican.  In addition, we also carried out the EPC on the ‘Big Glass Ship’ building in Derriford, once home to the Plymouth Herald newspaper.

Non-domestic EPC Plymouth

Most commercial properties require a non-domestic EPC at the time they are  let or sold, however there are a few exceptions so do contact us and we would be happy to advise.  An EPC can also be used to provide an indication of how energy efficient the building is and how it can be improved.

Why use Up Energy for your EPC?

We have carried out over 1,500 commercial EPC assessments, many of them in Plymouth and the surrounding areas.

Offering our customers:

  • Fast turnaround
  • Competitively priced
  • Experienced local business covering Plymouth and beyond
  • Fully qualified Level 3, Level 4 and Level 5 in house energy assessors

About Commercial EPC’s

A commercial EPC is designed to give the prospective occupant an idea of how the building should be in terms of energy efficiency. This is based on annual CO2 emissions and looks at heating, hot water, lighting and thermal elements such as glazing and insulation. As part of our service we are able to advise cost efficient ways to improve the EPC rating and make the cost of renting a building more desirable to prospective tenants. The resulting EPC provides a rating of A to G, with A being the most efficient and G being the least efficient.
